Laura Escudé is an American music producer, live show programmer and designer, and performer. She is also known by her stage name Alluxe. Her music career includes touring with Kanye West as his live show programmer from 2011-2017, opening and DJing for Miguel's Wild Heart Tour in 2015-2016, playing violin on the Watch the Throne album, opening for Garbage's Not Your Kind of People World Tour in 2012, and composing the string arrangement for Kayne West's Dark Fantasy Tour. She has released music as Laura Escudé, Alluxe and has done remixes for M83, Mr. Hudson and Poliça. She is known for her cinematic approach to her production, specifically with the use of orchestral sounds.

Early life
Escudé was trained as a classical violinist and won a scholarship to the Interlochen music camp in 1997. She was the concert master of the Rhode Island Youth Philharmonic and has also performed with the Santa Monica Symphony, the Torrance Symphony, the Multi-Ethnic Star Orchestra (MESTO), and the Observatory Orchestra.

Career
In 2001, she received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Violin Performance with a minor is Business. After graduating, she taught at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida.
In 2005, she began working in technical support at M-Audio where she went on to do Sales and Artist Relations.
In 2007, she became Ableton's West Coast Product Specialist and in 2008 became an Ableton Certified Trainer.
In 2009, she worked on Cirque du Soleil's Viva Elvis Show in Las Vegas as a programmer.
In 2011, she started touring with Kanye West as his music programmer and live vocal effect designer. She then went on to work with artists such as Kanye West, Porter Robinson, Demi Lovato, Iggy Azaela, Charli XCX, Logic, the Weeknd, Miguel, Becky G, Missy Elliott, Rita Ora, Solange, Crystal Method, Camila Cabello, Jay-Z, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Herbie Hancock, Cat Power, Bon Iver, Drake, Silversun Pickups, Garbage, Childish Gambino and M83.
In 2012, she formed the company Electronic Creatives which is a team of show designer, software developers and music programmers for touring artists.
